Mountain Valley Conference

In recognition of their outstanding accomplishments and contributions in the classroom, in athletic competition and in their communities, the Mountain Valley Conference recently recognized the following young people as MOUNTAIN VALLEY CONFERENCE SCHOLAR-ATHLETES for Winter Sports, 2012.  At a luncheon held at the Pleasant Valley School District Administration Center, the following were honored (pictured, left to right): Nick Stanovick (Boys’ Basketball, Pleasant Valley), Lena Yang (Girls’ Swimming, East Stroudsburg-South), Anthony Farole (Wrestling, Lehighton), Stephanie Gargone (Cheerleading, Pocono Mountain West), Ally Roth (Girls’ Basketball, Pocono Mountain East) and Colin Cruz (Boys’ Swimming, Pocono Mountain West).
